This directory contains a set of papers on smoothing biological data (such as sampled observations of positions of echolocating bats, insect prey, starling flocks) and related posters, data, and software. We start with an extended version of a paper in the 50th Allerton Conference, October 2-5, 2012.

Extended version of paper on Trajectory Smoothing from the 50th Allerton Conference, October 2-5, 2012. This version (by Biswadip Dey and P. S. Krishnaprasad), contains proofs of certain results about Riccati equations that are omitted from the final conference proceedings version (in IEEE Xplore Digital Library see digital proceedings ), due to page limitations.
