Welcome to the financial aid office. This office provides resources to help you find financial aid, including graduate and post-doctoral fellowships, research sponsors, and proposal-writing skills.

• The Financial Aid Information Page, also known as the FinAid Page, is a comprehensive free resource for information about student financial aid on the World Wide Web. Sponsored by the the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

Student Financial Aid: Specific Agencies

• National Science Foundation (NSF) Division of Graduate Education
  • Graduate Research Fellowships. Applicants must be United States citizens or nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States; college seniors, first-year graduate students, and others who have completed a limited amount of graduate study in science, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Travel Grants for graduate students and recent doctorates to attend NATO Advanced Study Institutes in Europe, for US citizens and permanent residents only.
  • NSF-NATO Postdoctoral Fellowships in Science and Engineering, including special fellowship opportunities for visiting scientists from cooperating partner countries.
  • NSF Postdoctoral Fellowships in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology Education, US citizens and permanent residents only.
• Fellowship and postdoctoral opportunities at the National Academies.
• AT&T Labs Fellowship Program. Fellowships are available to minority and women students who are beginning PhD studies in such fields as computer science, industrial engineering, math, operations research, and statistics.

• Undergraduate research programs in mathematics. A list maintained by the Math Forum.
• The National Science Foundation sponsors Research Experiences for Undergraduates, opportunities for undergraduates in all fields of science, mathematics, and engineering to join research projects each summer. This allows students to experience first-hand how basic research is carried out, and to contribute consequentially.
• AT&T Summer Internship and Research Programs. Excellent opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students at AT&T Labs.

• Research Funding in OR/MS. Provides a brief overview of various opportunities for funded research in OR / MS, along with pointers to federal and other agencies which maintain web pages or electronic databases for such information. A service provided by INFORMS.
