Abstract

Many different multicast protocols have been proposed and analysed in the current literature.Since satellites are naturally a broadcast medium,multicast communications have a potential to greatly benefit from their wide scale deployment. The performance of reliable multicast protocols needs to be studied and becomes better understood over networks including satellite links.
