Royal Swedish Academy Taps Dr.Baras
Professor John S. Baras has been elected as a Foriegn Member of Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Science (IVA). IVA is the world's oldest engineering academy. Its mission is to promote the engineering and economic sciences and the development of industry for the benefit of society . Dr.Baras also was invited to lecture to IVA on the topic of this choice.The induction ceremony took place at the Academy's annual meeting in Stockholm on Oct. 27, 2006
