background. The next significant land mass after this is Antarctica.

Colac Bay School -- this is where I attended school from ages 4 1/2 through 11 1/2.
There were only two rooms -- the "little" room and the "big" room.
The school is now closed and has been converted into a Marae (a Maori meeting place).
