A block of rooms has been reserved at the Claremont at a special rate of $159/night. This rate is only available until May 10, 2005, and only for a limited number of rooms. After this date, reservations will only be accepted on a space available basis at the prevailing hotel rates. Making room reservations early will help us in our planning.

Three ways to reserve a room

1. Phone the hotel at (800) 551-7266 and mention the "UCB Varaiya Symposium" or the Group Code VARSYM.

2. Or print out and fax this form (in MS Word format) to the hotel.

3. Or make your reservation at the Claremont Resort and Spa web site.

First turn off pop-up blocker on your browser

Under "reservations" on the left side of the page, enter the dates that you want and click "search."

Then go to the tab right below the shown dates "Add/Edit Code" and click on it.

In the pop-up window, enter VARSYM in the first space and click on "Save/Close"

Then click on "Show Availability" and click on the group name when it pops up.

Now, follow through to the reservation/credit card stage.

Click on the room type and rate bar that comes up.

In the next box click on ADD TO ITINERARY.

Then a window comes up in which to enter personal and billing information.
