Driving directions

The Myers Building is located on College Avenue next to the historic College Park Airport and is an easy 5-10 minute walk from the College Park/University of Maryland station on the Green Line of the Washington Metro System. Driving access to the Myers Building is from Paint Branch Parkway, which runs East/West between US Route 1, Baltimore Avenue and Kenilworth Avenue.

Parking generally is available in the parking lot of the Myers Building. If this lot is full, parking is available (and free) at the College Park Airport lot next to the Myers Building. Use street parking with care.

From Baltimore and Points North

Take I-95 South to the Capital Beltway I-495 West (yes, West); stay in the left lane as you exit and follow signs to College Park, US Route 1 South. Proceed approximately two miles south on US Route 1 to the intersection of Paint Branch Parkway and Route 1. (This also will be the main, north gate onto the campus of the University.) Turn left - that is, away from the campus - onto Paint Branch Parkway. Proceed approximately 3/4 of a mile, passing under the Metro/train tracks, to the second light after the tracks. Turn left onto Cpl. Frank S. Scott Drive. This road leads to the College Park Airport. Turn left on the second road, the 5000 block of College Avenue. The Myers Building is located at the end of this block. Free parking is available.

From points south and west of Washington, D.C.

Take the Capital Beltway (I-495) and head north and east. Just after I-495 joins I-95 in Maryland above Washington, D.C., get off at exit 25B toward College Park on US Route 1 South. Proceed approximately two miles south on US Route 1 to the intersection of Paint Branch Parkway and Route 1. (This also will be the main, north gate onto the campus of the University.) Turn left - that is, away from the campus - onto Paint Branch Parkway. Proceed approximately 3/4 of a mile, passing under the Metro/train tracks, to the second light after the tracks. Turn left onto Cpl. Frank S. Scott Drive. This road leads to the College Park Airport. Turn left on the second road, the 5000 block of College Avenue. From Annapolis and Points East

Take US Route 50 to the Capital Beltway (I95/495); go north on I95/495 to College Park, US Route 1 South (exit 25). From within the city of Washington, D.C.

Go northeast on Rhode Island Avenue (US Route 1). After entering Maryland, continue on US Route 1 approximately five miles to College Park. Turn right - that is, away from the University - at the traffic light onto Paint Branch Parkway. Proceed approximately 3/4 of a mile, passing under the Metro/train tracks, to the second light after the tracks. Turn left onto Cpl. Frank S. Scott Drive. This road leads to the College Park Airport. Turn left on the second road, the 5000 block of College Avenue. The Myers Building is located at the end of this block. Free parking is available.

Metro Directions

Take the Metrorail Green Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at the College Park/University of Maryland station which is the next to the last stop on the line. Exit the station toward the parking lot. Cross River Road next to the FDA Building, then walk East on Paint Branch Parkway to the light at Cpl. Frank S. Scott Drive. Cross Paint Branch Parkway and follow FS Scott Drive to the second corner. Turn left onto the 5000 block of College Avenue. The Myers Building is at the end of this block. Walking time: an easy 10 minutes.
