Dirk Aeyels

Birk Aeyels received a first degree in electrical and mechanical engineering from the University of Ghent and his M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees in Systems Science and Mathematics from Washington University, St. Louis. Currently he hold the position of Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and is the Director of the SYSTEMS Group at the University of Ghent. He research interests are in the areas of Dynamical Systems, Nonlinear Control, Stability, Optimization of space mission trajectories, and Synchronization of oscillators.
