Biography:

Jean-Marie Lauenstein received her B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2004. She is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Maryland, where she received a four-year Departmental Fellowship and Assistantship. She holds a co-operative education position in the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's Radiation Effects and Analysis Group. Her research is currently focused on efforts to model radiation-induced multiple-bit upsets in SRAM-based FPGAs in order to improve on-orbit error-rate predictions.
