Biography:

David Sander received his B.S. in electrical engineering with a minor in bioengineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 2004. Since 2004, he has been pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). In 2005, he received an Honorable Mention for the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship. He is currently a Teaching Assistant for microelectronics lectures and labs and a Graduate Research Assistant in the Integrated Biomorphic Information Systems Laboratory (UMCP) designing image sensing systems.
